Vi står for alt av vask og rigg før og etter selskapet og dette er inkludert i leieprisen. Sammen med TG Selskapsmat står vi for alt av oppdekking med det som trengs av servise, glass, lys, duker og servietter. Dette er inkludert i leieprisen. Merk at blomster ikke er inkludert i leieprisen.

Kan jeg ha med egen mat og drikke?

Det er ikke mulig med egen mat og drikke på Gjestestuene. Man må benytte TG Selskapsmat. Det er mulig å ta med begrenset med egne kaker etter avtale med kjøkkenet.

AV-utstyr og musikkanlegg

Det er trådløst nettverk i hele huset. Festsalen har projektor, lerret og lydanlegg som kan benyttes kostnadsfritt. Ta med egen PC eller Mac.

Gjestestuene har private uteområder med gårdsplass, benker og bord som kan brukes til velkomst eller pauser under arrangementer.

Gratis inngang på Norsk Folkemuseum

Det er gratis inngang til Norsk Folkemuseum for deg og dine gjester samme dag som arrangementet finner sted.

Gjestestuene har gratis parkeringsplass til cirka 20 biler på egen parkeringsplass.

If you want to organize an exclusive event, we recommend renting the entire house. In the Festsalen on the second floor, 120 guests can sit in the same room. In addition, there are three beautiful rooms that are used for the different moments of your event. We have all the AV equipment and two music systems that can be used free of charge. In the summer, the celebration flows seamlessly into the large green courtyard with garden furniture and a champagne pavilion. You get a view of a stave church from the 13th century and the beautiful cultural landscape at the Norwegian Folk Museum. Absolutely perfect for both wedding celebrations and large dinners for international companies that want to show "Norway in a nutshell" - on Bygdøy!

The Festsalen is a large, bright and romantic room with a view of the cultural landscape at the Norwegian Folk Museum, perfect for life's big occasions. The Festsalen is located on the second floor, while the Blå Peisestue lounge is a few steps down, on the mezzanine level. The Festsalen can seat 120 guests together in the same room, but if you only rent the Festsalen and the Blå Peisestue, it is common to have somewhere between 30 - 70 guests. If you have more guests, it may be a good idea to rent the entire house. The Festsalen has free AV equipment and a good music system.

On Sundays we rent out the Festsalen at a special price of 15,900 kr.

In the Folkestuen and Østerdalsstua you get a warm and pleasant atmosphere with an open fireplace in both rooms. In the summer there is direct access to our green courtyard. For private events it is common to use Østerdalstua for mingling and welcoming, and the Folkestuen for lunch or dinner. For meeting days the Folkestuen is used for the meeting part and the Østerdalsstua for serving lunch and for breaks. There is AV equipment and a music system in the Folkestuen. For groups of around 20 guests it is fine to rent only the Folkestuen.

Rental price for just the Folkestuen is 9900 NOK. – Nice premises for small and medium-sized groups.

The guest rooms are idyllically located on Bygdøy, on top of a small knoll in the cultural landscape by the Norwegian Folk Museum. Here you will have a very special setting for your event – with historic surroundings, large pine trees and views over the area.

We offer facilities for parties, meetings and conferences, and accommodate groups from 20 to 120 guests. You can choose from four different rooms, each with its own unique character and historical expression. For larger events, it is common to rent the entire house, while smaller groups often choose a single room.

When you rent from us, you also get access to nice outdoor areas with benches and tables, a champagne pavilion and a flagpole. There is free parking for around 20 cars.

The Festsalen can seat up to 120 guests, and the venue is often used for weddings and large celebrations. If you are getting married, we can also offer a wedding ceremony in the Stave Church or in Galleri Gamle landbruk – two unique wedding venues that many choose as part of their wedding day.

We are happy to help you plan and customize the event to suit your exact needs.

Washing, rigging and setting
We are responsible for all cleaning and rigging before and after the party and this is included in the rental price.

Together with TG Selskapsmat, we are responsible for all the table setting with the necessary crockery, glasses, candles, tablecloths and napkins. This is included in the rental price.

Please note that flowers are not included in the rental price. You can bring your own flowers pre-arranged in vases, or you can use the services of TG Selskapsmat or external flower suppliers.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
It is not possible to bring your own food and drinks into the Guest Rooms, you must use TG Selskapsmat. It is possible to bring a limited amount of your own cakes by arrangement with the kitchen.
AV equipment and music systems
There is a wireless network throughout the building. You will find a ceiling-mounted projector, screen and sound system in the Festsalen that you can use free of charge. Bring your own PC/Mac. Please note that we do not have technical support, so you must operate the equipment yourself via the HDMI cable that is provided.

In the Festival Hall we also have a boom microphone and a wireless microphone that can be used if needed.

We also have a Soundbox that can be used for music at the party.

If you would like to use the piano, it is available in the Festival Hall.
Outdoor areas
The Gjestestuene have beautiful private outdoor areas. Use of our furnished courtyard with a view of the beautiful Open Air Museum is included for everyone who rents at the Gjestestuene. We have benches, tables and a champagne pavilion in the courtyard, along with a flagpole with a pennant. The outdoor areas are often used for welcoming guests or for breaks during the meeting day.

At simultaneous events, the outdoor areas are shared.
Free admission to the Norwegian Folk Museum
There is free admission to the Norwegian Folk Museum for you and your guests via the Guest Rooms on the same day as the event takes place.

Do you have parking?
We have free parking for about 20 cars in our own parking lot at Gjestestuene. The spaces are shared during simultaneous events at Gjestestuene.
