Historiske lokaler are a collection of function rooms associated with some of Norway's most important cultural history museums. All of our meeting and function rooms are beautifully located in environments of national value.

The Norwegian Folk Museum Foundation consists of five museums and a visitor center in Oslo and Eidsvoll. We work to make history accessible and relevant to everyone, and are proud to be able to offer rental of our function rooms, so that you can bring a little piece of Norwegian history into your next event.

Gjestestuene at Folkemuseet provide a warm and historic atmosphere, while Gartneriet and Sæterhytten are fantastic choices for those who want a more intimate and close wedding.

If you want a celebration with a view of the Oslo Fjord, Røylen at the Norwegian Maritime Museum is a beautiful venue that really puts the finishing touch.

Food and drink

Serving, food and drinks

All of our meeting and banquet facilities have permanent professional kitchens attached to the business, which are responsible for all catering, food and drinks for your event. It is not possible to bring your own food and drinks into our facilities. Below you can see which partners are associated with our various meeting and banquet facilities.

With us, you can arrange your collection in four different environments, each with its own style and history.

• If you want a panoramic view of the Oslo Fjord, we can provide it in Røylen & Triton at the Norwegian Maritime Museum.
• If you would rather have a conference among beautiful courtyards and pine trees at the Norwegian Folk Museum, we have rooms for you at Gjestestuene at Norsk Folkemuseum.
• If you're going to have a quick breakfast meeting in central Oslo, we recommend a literary experience in the theater hall at IBSEN Museum & Theatre.
