Here we create the setting for unforgettable moments, whether it's weddings, confirmations, anniversaries or other large parties for up to 120 guests. The hall is also perfect for meetings, conferences and seminars, with modern AV equipment and an atmosphere that combines airy elegance with intimate warmth.
With round tables, bright sails on the ceiling and hanging lights, the room gets a distinctive look that sets the tone.

The east wing at Bogstad Gård offers two unique function rooms: Banquet Hall Peder Anker and Salong Grev Wedel. These rooms cannot be used simultaneously, but individually they provide an atmospheric setting for everything from festive occasions to professional gatherings.
Banquet Hall Peder Anker
With space for up to 120 guests, this is our largest venue, perfect for weddings, confirmations, anniversaries and other large parties. The hall is also well suited for meetings, conferences and seminars, with modern AV equipment such as a ceiling-mounted projector, screen and sound system with boom microphones. Here we set round tables, and the room feels both airy and intimate, with bright sails and hanging lights that give it an elegant character.
Salon Count Wedel
A more intimate space with a classic atmosphere, ideal for smaller parties, receptions or board meetings. The lounge has a historic character and provides an exclusive setting for events that require a warm and sophisticated setting.

Practical information
Opening hours
The party rooms at Bogstad Gård are closed in July and on all holidays throughout the year.
Closing time for all events in the function rooms is 0300 at the latest.
Wash, set up, table setting and flowers
Wash and rig
We are responsible for all cleaning and rigging before and after the party and this is included in the rental price.
Uncovering
Together with FoodOccasion, we are responsible for all the table setting with the necessary crockery, glasses, candles, tablecloths and napkins. This is included in the rental price.
Flowers and decorations for the tables
Please note that flowers are not included in the rental price. You can bring your own flowers, ready-made in vases, or you can use the service of FoodOccasion. You can also use an external flower supplier. Delivery of flowers and other decorations, such as place cards and place cards, must be agreed with FoodOccasion well in advance of the event.
Own food and drinks
It is not possible to bring your own food and drinks at Bogstad Gård. We use catering, food and drinks from our partner FoodOccasion. It is possible to bring your own cakes by arrangement with FoodOccasion.
AV equipment, music system and grand piano
There is a wireless network throughout the building. You will find a ceiling-mounted projector, screen and sound system in the Peder Anker Banquet Hall, which you can use free of charge. Bring your own PC/Mac. Please note that we do not have technical support, so you will have to operate the equipment yourself via the HDMI cable that is provided. You can arrange a review of the technical equipment in advance of your event.
In the banquet hall we also have boom microphones and a good sound system that can be used free of charge. The sound system has speakers for both the banquet hall and the lounge.
In addition, you have a smaller portable Soundbox that can be used to play music outside, e.g. for a welcome in front of the main house.
If you would like to use a grand piano, it is available in the banquet hall and lounge. If tuning of the instrument is required, this can be done at the customer's expense by arrangement.
Decorations, confetti and your own equipment
It is not allowed to attach decorations to walls or ceilings, move museum objects, or use confetti of any kind.
The tenant is responsible for any damage to buildings or interiors, and the amount of compensation will be assessed based on the extent of the damage. All decorations brought in must be packed up at the end of the evening. This can be stored and picked up by arrangement. It is also possible to deliver decorations in advance by arrangement, together with flowers and place cards.
Decorating the venue
Bogstad Gård delivers a full package solution where we, in collaboration with FoodOccasion, also take care of all the decorations on the premises. There is no opportunity to come the day before to decorate ourselves, we have many events throughout the week and the place is often rented out. FoodOccasion places delivered decorations and flowers on the tables by agreement with the organizer.
Landscape Park and Gazebo
Bogstad Gård is located with one of Norway's most beautiful and oldest parks right outside the door. You can rent the park for your event at Bogstad Gård for an additional fee. It is very popular to hold a welcome party in front of the main house, with a view of beautiful Bogstadvannet.
The gazebo is located on the waterfront down by Bogstadvannet and is a popular place for outdoor weddings. If you are getting married at Bogstad and want to hold your wedding in the park, you can book this with us for an additional fee.
All couples who arrange their party at Bogstad Gård have free use of the park for wedding photography on the day itself.
Facilitation
The venue is wheelchair accessible, and there is a telecoil for use in the banquet hall and lounge.
Menus can be adapted to food preferences and allergies.
Parking and public transport
Parking
Bogstad Gård has a large free parking lot. The spaces are shared with other visitors to the facility at Bogstad. Cars can be left overnight at the guests' own risk. It is not possible to park campers overnight at Bogstad Gård. Camper parking is available nearby at Bogstad Camping.
Public transport
Metro: Take line 2 to the final stop Røa.
Bus: From Røa Metro Station, take bus 41 in the direction of Sørkedalen. The bus stops right by Bogstad Gård. The bus runs approximately once an hour. See details at Ruter.no
Payment and conditions
When entering into an agreement to rent Bogstad Gård for a wedding, our terms and conditions and cancellation policy must be accepted. An advance invoice for half the rental amount is sent when booking a wedding, while the remaining amount, including additional services, is invoiced after the event.
For all other smaller events, the full rental amount is invoiced after the event has taken place.
For any cancellation after a confirmed event, an administration fee of NOK 2,000 will be invoiced.
