With its grand reception rooms for 80–120 guests and a stunning English-style landscape park, Bogstad Gård offers a uniquely scenic backdrop for your wedding day. During the summer months, guests can gather for a welcome toast and aperitifs in the park, surrounded by lush nature and centuries of history.

For a truly unforgettable ceremony, the Lysthus (Gazebo) in the park is an extraordinary choice. Situated right at the water’s edge of Bogstadvannet, it creates a nearly magical atmosphere as you exchange your vows.

The 2027 Season:
Please note that Bogstad Gård is fully booked for all Saturdays during the summer peak (May through mid-September). However, we still have Saturday availability during the summer season at Gjestestuene at the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History (Norsk Folkemuseum).

Guest Requirements:

For Saturdays during the high season (May–October), there is a minimum requirement of 80 adult guests. If your guest count falls below this number, a no-show fee of 1,000 NOK per missing person will be applied.

You have access to both the Peder Anker Banquet Hall and the Grev Wedel Salon. In addition, you have access to Bogstad Historical Landscape Park, with the possibility of arranging a welcome drink in front of the main house, as well as taking wedding photos in the park. If you also want to hold the wedding in the park or at the Gazebo down by Bogstadvannet, it costs 8,000 kroner extra. Should it rain on the day, the wedding ceremony can be moved into the Grev Wedel Salon.

Our banquet rooms are suitable for weddings with between 80 – 120 guests, and provide plenty of space for all parts of the celebration – from the welcome and dinner to dancing and coffee.

The wedding dinner is served by Foodoccasion, Bogstad Gård's regular restaurateur and partner. They deliver high-quality food and drinks, and tailor the menu to the wishes and needs of the bride and groom. Here, you can expect tasty dishes, professional service and a holistic experience that puts the finishing touch on the wedding celebration.

After dinner, the party continues with dancing and fun in the atmospheric premises, where both the atmosphere and surroundings contribute to making the wedding day unforgettable.
