Terms & conditions for venue hire at IBSEN Museum & Teater

The IBSEN Museum & Theatre offers venue hire facilities for both small and large groups. Our spaces can be adapted to suit your event and are well suited for everything from shorter meetings to full-day conferences.

1.Technical Facilities
Wireless internet access is available throughout the building.

The auditorium is equipped with modern technical equipment suitable for film screenings and presentations for up to 147 guests.



Stage conference lighting is provided with a fixed setup. Should the client require adjustments to lighting, use of microphones, or live streaming, a technician must be hired. Pricing for technical assistance will be provided upon request.

2. Catering & Beverages

Coffee, tea, and soft drinks may be ordered. We also offer catering tailored to your needs through our partners Pascal and TG Catering.

The client is not permitted to bring food or beverages into the premises, nor to order catering from external suppliers for conference guests.

3. Agreement, Cancellation and Payment

Following a site visit, the IBSEN Museum & Theatre will provide the client with a written rental agreement. The signed agreement must be returned no later than 14 days after the date of issue. Failure to return the signed agreement within this deadline will result in the reservation being cancelled.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.

In the event of cancellation four (4) weeks (28 days) prior to the agreed rental date, the client will be charged 50% of the agreed rental fee.

In the event of cancellation within fourteen (14) days of the event date, the client will be invoiced the full agreed amount, including costs related to staffing (hosts and technicians) due to loss of scheduled work.

The IBSEN Museum & Theatre will issue an invoice after the event has taken place.
